My friend, Veronica, and her husband were able to get me a free seat at NAMM! We mostly took advantage of the seminars being offered, but there was also live music to enjoy, instruments to play, demonstrations, etc.  Other than that, I have all sorts of offers planned for February. A week and a half ago, I had the privilege of going down to Disney Animation Studios to watch a film I had helped put together. The Alliance of Women Directors teamed up with Shoot ‘Em Up to pick six directors to tell six true-to-life stories. Jenn Page’s Soledad is about a woman who escaped horrific incidents in her homeland of El Salvador and now suffers from mental illness brought on by PTSD. She moves in with a family as a live in housekeeper and slowly starts to unravel. It should be public in January, 2019 when it will hopefully be on the festival circuit.
