It's true what they say: The days are long, but the years are short. In honor of my 10 years of creating original content, I had a screening of my work. I rented a theater, invited some friends, made party favors, and I made sure to get a photo with all of the night's award winners.

The Deck is going to be featured in San Diego's Comic Con this year! I always enjoy seeing something I'm a part of go from its first inception to a fully-formed creation, and getting into something this prestigious is the icing on that cake. If you happen to be going to Comic Con this year, make sure to check it out! Hopefully, we'll be able to show the final product once it's made its way through the festival circuit.
I just finished shooting another short film, and as the kids say, "it was lit!" First, because Chris was our Director of Photography, so he brought a bunch of lighting equipment. Second, because of the awkward size and angles of everything, Chris and I accidentally turned on the stove at least three times.
Hopefully, this video will be edited by the end of July, and I can start submitting it to festivals! A week and a half ago, I had the privilege of going down to Disney Animation Studios to watch a film I had helped put together. The Alliance of Women Directors teamed up with Shoot ‘Em Up to pick six directors to tell six true-to-life stories.
Jenn Page’s Soledad is about a woman who escaped horrific incidents in her homeland of El Salvador and now suffers from mental illness brought on by PTSD. She moves in with a family as a live in housekeeper and slowly starts to unravel. It should be public in January, 2019 when it will hopefully be on the festival circuit.
I'm currently producing a short film with Lydia Hunter! The Deck is a story about a group of gamers who are more themselves when they play a game as their characters. It's a star-crossed romance gone rogue. Anything can happen when you draw from...THE DECK! So far, I've filled out a bunch of forms, written a ton of puns, and I've created a map for the project (watch the video below!). There are some awesome perks, like getting your name on the map I'm making, playing Dungeons and Dragons with the cast, and being drawn as a DnD character. Check these out and more!
My webseries, the Cheryl Carolers, is finally complete and ready for your viewing pleasure! Either watch the whole series below, or use this link to go straight to the playlist.
I finally got around to updating my Youtube Channel! I still have one or two tweaks I'd like to make from a branding standpoint, but I streamlined the entire channel. Now, every miniseries has its own playlist and all of my comedic videos can be found in one place and in an order. I also unlisted, privatized, and deleted a lot of videos that didn't really serve a purpose at the moment.
